Job Requirements
We are looking for a strong Data Scientist that has a solid statistics background with strong Python and SQL skills to support Website & App experimentation. The candidate will support the experimentation program for a premier streaming platform. They will provide results and analysis for each experiment. While baseline reporting is automated, each test has unique metrics and audiences that require ad hoc data manipulation and analysis to determine the winning experience. The contract position is a minimum of 6 months with likely extension to 9 or 12 months (temp to perm). Client interactions will be with London and NY locales.
Responsibilities
- Support data analysis support for the execution of CRO and experimentation across the acquisition funnel as well as within the product.
- Work with business owners to design experiments and ensure the appropriate metrics are defined and data collection & storage is in place.
- Working hands-on, extracting data, using Python/SQL in a Databricks/Snowflake environment.
- Use statistical methods to determine experimentation winners.
- Develop and present learnings from your analyses, including actionable insights and recommendations.
- Communicating and presenting to colleagues, senior managers, and clients.
- 3+ years’ experience in data science.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Python/SQL/Databricks.
- Advanced Excel skills in pivot tables, vlookup, formulas, and manipulating data to identify trends.
- Exemplifies sound judgment and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality, and work efficiently to operate in a fast-paced, environment.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.
